REAL BIKERS WEAR PINK

Real Bikers Wear Pink will host our 6th annual ride on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Registration/check-in will begin at 8am. The ride will leave from the parking lot of Sam's Club in Overland Park, on 135th Street, 2 blocks west of 69 Highway at 9am. One of our sponsors,Chris Cakes, will be there serving pancakes, sausage and orange juice for all riders. The route is approximately 100 scenic miles through Johnson County and a little piece of northern Miami County - all in Kansas. There are gas stations along the way and we've incorporated some of the most interesting roads in the area. The ride will end in southern Johnson County. Then kick back, enjoy great companionship and great raffle prizes, too! Your registration donation of $30 also gets you a very collectible, commemorative Real Bikers Wear Pink T-shirt.  We'll have patches again for this year's ride (first come, first served) from our sponsor, Absolute Awards.

While breast cancer is more prevalent in females, it is an "equal opportunity" disease - and so is this ride. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, please join us for our sixth ride this autumn.

From day 1 of RBWP- all net proceeds have been earmarked specifically for the purpose of BREAST CANCER RESEARCH ONLY. Susan G. Komen for the Cure can ONLY use our donations for RESEARCH. Earmarking the net proceeds for RESEARCH keeps RBWP out of any political "gray area" and able to help win the fight against breast cancer.
